Pumice

Structural material for substrate production.

Pumice, a natural volcanic rock from the Eifel region, offers an ecological alternative to perlite, as it does not require a lot of energy to produce. Read more in our blog.

Pumice also has a slightly higher weight than perlite and is therefore not washed out. The large surface area due to the pore structure ensures a high gas exchange capacity in the substrate and thus ensures a higher oxygen content.
